Error compiling Kannel with MySQL on Mac

Hi,

I am having trouble compiling Kannel 1.4.3 with MySQL on a Mac box. The
error is

N.B.
1. System is Mac OS X, 10.5.6
2. Kannel works fine when complied without MySQL support.
3. I have MAMP running with MySQL working fine and the path has been
specified while compiling too.
