Hi everyone, I will be the first to admit this is quite soon, but I do believe that its good to release software often. So the question today is, when will be planning to release Kannel 1.5.0 ? I believe the transition should be smoother than from 1.4.1 => 1.4.2/3 because UTF-8 is now standard. If/when we decide to release I also believe we can drop those 'age old' support needs preventing some long standing bugs from being fixed ( eg: MySQL < 4.1 issue ). I think there are some great new features (meta data, TLV support, SMSC reloading, etc) available which should be made 'generally available' by a full release. Comments and thoughts?
