Unmatched SubmitSM sequence number - please help

The ESME that conencts to us Via Kannel is not able to send messages to
kannel

it gets "  Unmatched SubmitSM sequence number"

When they conenct dircet to SMSC wihtout Kannel all messages are accepted.
Can some one help us? Thank you
