messages timed out at ESME - How to se kannel throttle speed - please any help appreciated

We are getting messages timed out at the ESME while conencting via Kannel to
SMSC. This is for about 50msg/sec speed. Do we need to increase teh kannel
throttle level window size to receive more messages from ESME?
