RE: Problem conneting to modem by Kannel SMS Gateway

Could possibly be a hardware problem. Did you try another modem?

What if you set your speed = 4800 in group = modems? Does that help?
    - It did n't helped.

I am not able catch why are the commands not dispatched to Modem.

I have already checked with the things mentioned in the link you provided.
