Thanks for the input, and though I *know* that 1.5.0 is much more mature,
and i am sure it is pretty stable at its current state, it is still declared
a Development release...

The problem is exactly that its "pretty" stable, and the only actual way of
using it is getting an SVN tree that is getting direct checkins, rather than
a frozen version...
It is very hard, close to impossible to explain the *tech* personnel of a
telco-related company why they should run an SVN trunk, let alone their
bosses.

So right now we're stuck with 1.4.3 until either Kannel group releases
anything newer called "stable", or the client finally gives in and takes the
"risk"... the latter may never happen as well, because its a big company
with pretty strict internal regulations.

Also, the project is under active development - which means that there are
new features added fast.
One way of getting all the new goodies is getting a fresh trunk, but maybe
it is really possible to make a steady release schedule where every - lets
say - 6/12 month there would be a new stable release tagged with whats
available and properly tested at that point?
