We're running version 1.5.0.

I've recently been looking at reconfiguring some of our binds.  We have binds to two SMSCs, one of which expects some Optional Parameters which have been supplied with the HTTP request to Kannel, and one that doesn't, but which provides a second set of binds for testing.  So four binds in total.

Reading the 1.5.0 userguide I realised that I could provide the meta-data to specify the optional parameters in the Kannel conf file.  So I changed the smsc group for that SMSC to include the meta-data.

I removed the changed smsc group from Kannel via the web interface.  However, when I came to add the modified one back in Kannel refused to add it.  So I took Kannel down and started it manually; I received an error message that said that meta-data was not a valid parameter for group smsc.

After a considerable amount of digging I eventually found that that functionality had only been added on 6 May 2011, well after version 1.5.0 was released; however it was clearly included in the 1.5.0 userguide.

I would expect that any addition like that was ONLY included in the daily snapshot userguide and not the 1.5.0 userguide.  Otherwise it is impossible to determine what features are actually in 1.5.0.
