Hi Andreas

It looks fine. I tested with serial modem (enfora) and works fine.

However I wasn't able to test it with rawtcp connection since my
production service does not have an updated kannel and there I do have
that time of connection.

A question, how often does the signal info get updated? The rest is
mostly "fixed"until you disconnect/reconect a modem but not the signal
that can vary often. Maybe a config entry on the modem config to set
its refresh rate?

BTW, what about a feature that will allow us to send specific single
commands to the modem without stoping the connection to have access to
the modem com port?

Regards

Alvaro
