sqlbox error

When I tried to install kannel on ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
problem occur in sqlbox installation.
I use this version of kannel.
gateway-1.5.0.tar.bz2 development version.
Please suggest me to which version of kannel and sqlbox I use on ubuntu 12.04
and
which GSM modem should I use to connect with kannel?
