locking version of http_send_reply

Hello everyone,

Is there a way to get locking version of http_send_reply. I looked in the
gwlib and it seems there is no such function so was going to develop
new/alter existing function, but wanted to ask in here first.

I'm using it in following scenario, in my application cell phone fetch MMS
(which may be very big) then in many cases the handset drop connection and
retry later. I need a way to tell if the entire content was downloaded
successfully or not (with non blocking http_send_reply is difficult).

Can you point me in the right direction how to develop this functionality
in the most effective way.
