Modify details in the PDU of an incoming SMS

This is for R&D.

How is it possible to modify the PDU from a incoming SMS.

I want to change the SMSC details from an incoming SMS that is being
transmitting via my opensmpp server. I want to change the sender ID or the
SMSC details in the PDU before it gets forwarded to the delivering SMSC.

Is this possible?
