The correct SMS center number for dial-up with Proximus is 0475161622. The number you're using is the GSM SMS center. Make sure that your phone line has CLIP enabled. Also, Proximus won't let anyone in from non Belgacom numbers, so if you're using Telenet, Versatel or any other provider, you won't be able to send an sms with a regular modem. To solve this, I use GNOKII with a Nokia 6210 and sms_client. Works like a charm. Device is on /dev/ttyS0 0x3f8 irq 4 I changed the sms addressbook, i changed the sms_modem to use /dev/ttyS0, changed sms_centre_number from our provider PROXIMUS (belgium) to "00475161616" (a 0 before because we use a central). -- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
