Access to text sizing functions

Hi all,

I've been reading up a bit recently about text sizing on the web and various approaches. In an ideal world, everyone would understand how to use their browser to scale text, and would be familiar with that process. However, many people do not [1].

One response to this problem is a text-resizing widget embedded within the website itself, but this has many obvious disadvantages.

It seems that, at least in the case David describes, just making the text-size functions more readily available would be a great help. Does anyone know why they can't be added to the toolbar? Nice consistent icons would certainly help users who currently have trouble using these functions, and an 'accessibility' toolbar could even be available as an option.

Regards,

- Bobby
