Today mozilla.org made available for download Mozilla 1.0.1. This
release is a bugfix and security follow-up to Mozilla 1.0. All users of
Mozilla 1.0 that have not upgraded to Mozilla 1.1 are strongly
encouraged to upgrade to Mozilla 1.0.1.

Mozilla 1.0.1 contains over 650 bugfixes including approximately 25
security fixes, and over 130 stability and dataloss fixes. In addition
to these important security, crash and dataloss fixes, Mozilla 1.0.1
includes fixes for standards support, UI correctness and polish,
performance, and site compatibility.

Mozilla 1.0.1 is not a feature release. It is a bugfix release and those
interested in new features are encouraged to upgrade to Mozilla 1.1 or,
for the more daring, Mozilla 1.2alpha (available tomorrow, 2002-09-11).
