Perhaps. Either that or I've take what was written at face value and 
genuinely have no idea what "awnser" means, or why it is descending.

Common sense seems to disagree with you.

I'm a typical user. Of the 4 newsgroups in question I only read this one. 
Similarly, you can't guarantee which newsgroup will have the reader(s) who 
can answer the question so it's sensible to crosspost moderately (to a mere 
4 groups) and carefully (to no irrelevant newsgroups) into each newsgroup 
which may have an informed readership.

The fact that no one seems to have come forward with an answer yet suggests 
that posting the question to a single group would also meet with no 
success. Juan Jansen raised an interesting and important question, so far 
all he's received is an ill informed concise rant from [email protected]. 
And me failing to understand his English. Perhaps he should post to more 
groups?
