[Camino] Why do Quicktime videos not play properly in Camino?

I recently downloaded the Camino browser, and like it a lot, but unlike Safari, it does not seem to play QT videos at full speed; they stagger. The audio flows properly, but the video is jerky. Why is this? Again, in Safari the same videos on the same pages play at full speed.
