Hello:

Just so this thread is not completely useless, I recently lost alll my
bookmarks, but managed to recover most of them because I had exported
them and loaded them into Firefox. Moving them back was't a huge
problem.

This happened in my Panther install, however I'm now upgraded to
Tiger, so I may or maynot beable to find logs for this.

The incident happened right after I had done some major work on the
file system with Disk Warrior (no problems reported) and some cleanup
of OS and browser caches with Onyx, (making sure to leave bookmarks
and history intact).

When I rebooted after using Onyx, my Camino bookmarks were trashed. I
created a new profile and reloaded bookmarks from Firefox. Hopefully
that gives some clues. Onyx is usualy quite reliable I had thought.

Cheers
David
