[Camino] 'Not Supported in Your Browser" ...

I was following a thread about Google-Groups and Thunderbird when I went
to this page:
http://groups.google.com/groups/profile?myprofile


I looked and also noted my "usual" Avatar was not in play, so I clicked
the link to update Photo:

"My Picture: Select a picture to use as your Groups Photo."

then I get this pop-up :


"This feature is not supported in your web browser.
Download a new copy of Firefox or Internet Explorer to upload your picture."
