[Camino] Tab scrolling in 1.6pre

G'day, The latest nightlies (1.6pre) have introduced tab scrolling replacing the single down arrow (to show whe there are more tabs) on the RH end of the tab bar with arrows at each end as well as the the down arrow. I find this to be nuisance and much prefer the original pre 1.6pre - hope that makes sense :) - method with the single down arrow as I have a standard lot of pages that I always have open and am used to going to certain positions on the tab bar to get to the page I want. Now that the tab bar scrolls I can't do that. So my question is - is there a way of having the old method back?
