[Camino] you tube and others

When I am directed to You Tube and other streaming
video sites, I am unable to terminate the activity in
any kind of quick fashion. I lose complete control of
the window. Is this normal? I know that I have a slow
DSL but I find it very annoying if I can't stop the
stream or control it.
