I just tried this with Leopard 10.5.2 (9C2028), Safari 3.1 (5525.13), and Camino Version 2.0a1pre (1.9b5pre 2008031000). I first went to a site on Camino to enter and have it save a password, then reset Safari and then went back to Camino and my password was still there.
