I'm tinkering again with converting a non-XUL extension I wrote for Firefox
into something for Camino. I've managed to insinuate a .jar into Camino such
that chrome://foo/content/bletch.html will work (by modifying
~/Library/Application Support/Camino/chrome/chrome.rdf), but I can't find
something corresponding for components/. In particular, this extension is a
protocol handler (it installs its own about:, and replaces the existing
gopher:// protocol handler), so I can't figure out a way to shoehorn it into
XBL and run it that way.

Do any of the Camino devs on the list have a suggestion? Is this even
possible?
