Random(?) permanent crash

Moz 1.4-6 from RPMs on RedHat 9 suddenly exits. It could be on new page 
opening, or while I'm just typing in  an address (just in the middle- I 
still haven't pressed "enter".
After such crash it doesn't start, giving no messages, no errors. When I 
try to start it from the console, it simply  returns me to the command 
prompt. Only reboot solves the problem, untill it'll crash again
By now the situation changed to bad: Now, even after reboot, mozilla 
doesn't start at user session at all. Only under root account.
