Installing MozillaFirebird on Linux Mandrake 8.0

Hi guys,
I need your help, 'cause I just downloaded latest Mozilla Firebird 
version and installed it on my notebook.
Then I try to launch MozillaFirebird file and nothing is done.. I tried 
many way to launch it, but still nothing.

Somebody can help me ?
(I am a linux novice)
