Firebird Crash after DX9 App

Alot of times, I like to have Firebird stay in the bg while I play a DX9 game (such as America's Army or HALO), but ever since I upgraded to 0.7, Firbird crashes after I get done using a DX9 game. Is there a fix to that yet?
