Recent Gecko based browsers exhibit crashes on some MathML pages. Affected browsers are: Mozilla 1.5 (Linux), Mozilla Firebird 0.7 (Windows + Linux) and Galeon 1.3.10 (with Mozilla 1.5 Gecko engine). Other/older versions, including Mozilla 1.2.1 (Linux), Netscape 7.0.1 (Linux), Netscape 7.1 and Mozilla Firebird 0.6 are not affected. Pages that provoke this crash are: http://www.w3.org/Math/XSL/mml2002-04.xml http://pan.maths.org/mmkb/entry.html?action=entryById&id=826 Pages that render successfully on all browsers are: http://www.w3.org/Math/XSL/pmathml2.xml http://www.w3.org/Math/XSL/csmall2.xml But what is the crucial difference that makes some pages crash Mozilla but others not?
