mozilla nightly 2-24-04 3pm install crashes

The mozilla-win32-installer.exe nightly build 2-24-04 at 3pm ish crashes
when installing the mail & news component.  I downloaded directly from the
mozilla.org ftp site.  The only way to restore my installation was to revert
to the 1.7a build
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/experimental/mozilla1.7a/
from 2-23-04 at 3:43pm.

I'm on Windows XP Pro, with ms autoupdates turned on, and I install the
latest build about once a week.  This is the first time its crashed on me,
and I'm not a bugzilla user so this appears to be the best place to post
this.
