How to get details on certificates?

On CentOS 6 and 7, i can get certutil to list the certificates via
`certutil -L -d sql:${HOME}/.pki/nssdb`
but i need the creation and expiration date time stamps and many other details of the certificate. How does one get detailed certificate information? i have many certificates that basically have the same name and need to differentiate.
nss-tools-3.21.0-9.el7_2.x86_64 and nss-tools-3.21.0-0.3.el6_7.x86_64.
