Yes, that's what I thought as well.  But Lightning was not available 
yesterday.  But we have to put ourselves in simple users' shoes:
"Somebody told me I can use Lightning.  I'm still using a previous 
version of Thunderbird (or even the supposedly current version) and one 
day I decide to try it one. I make a search and found nothing. I turn 
away and never look back!"

Yes, I know.  But as I stated earlier, we have to use simple users' 
perspective. If they found nothing, most of them just turn away. I 
suppose Mozilla's philosophy is to give great user experience, no?

Yes, that's what I'm using right now.

When I ask "Could we make previous versions of Lightning available?", I 
meant to make them available to Add-on Manager in some previous versions 
of TB, eg LT 1.5.2 for TB 13, LT 1.6 for TB 14, LT 1.7 for TB 15, during 
the transition period.  Is this possible?
