How to "Invite Attendees" using an Address Book "List"?

How to "Invite Attendees" using an Address Book "List"? I have a "List" in my address book with 60 e-mail addresses and would like to send meeting invitations to them. But when I type the name of the List into the "Invite Attendees" dialog and Tab out of the entry field, all I get is the *first entry* from the List. It would be very cumbersome to manually type in all 60 names. Is there a way to invite people using a List? If not, is there a bug number I could follow? PS. I had posted this in the support newsgroup two months ago but got no response.
