Planned synchronization

Hello

I am using Thunderbird and Lightning since years.
The only thing that disappoints me is the Synchronization, that is very
disturbing, because every time the Calendars get synced Thunderbird stops
working for minutes and the Calendar sidebar gets rebuild more than once. This
is done every 10 to 15 Minutes,

I have set the Calendars to 60 Minutes synchronization and where I could to
manual but that is not helping.

I think it would be better if you could give Times for Synchronization of all
Calendars in the Lightning Settings instead of periods in the Calendar Settings.
Lightning should use another  thread so it is not disturbing Thunderbird. At
last it should only rebuild the sidebar if an Entry ended or new entries be
displayed. But not if the Calendars get synchronized.

I hope that the problems in Synchronization of Calendars get fixed  so that
Thunderbird / Lightning will be a real Alternative for MS in this part to.
