This might be due to a bug in Firefox (and Thunderbird?) nightly builds. 
I cannot log into my primary Google Apps account in Firefox nightly, 
even though I deleted all cookies and cache. I am able to log in using 
Firefox release. Maybe the same is true for Google calendars on 
Thunderbird nightly...
