Can't great events in Lightning 3.8a1

Along with not being able to dismiss events using the "Dismiss" button I 
reported in m.s.calendar before the coffee kicked in, I can not create a 
new event.

There is no response from the time field.

Also tested Snooze and Snooze All buttons and they don't respond.

That was using the latest builds of Thunderbird Daily and Lightning.
