One way to get a quick overview of the API changes is to look at the changes we made to the public LDAP header files (I don't think we made any behavior changes other than those caused by bug fixes). I posted a diff that shows the header file differences between the tags ldapcsdk_5_17_client_branch and LDAPCSDK_6_0_RELEASE. See: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=241947 (an attachment to bug 339298). -Mark Anton Bobrov wrote: > the only incompatible changes are on liblber side right now where new > generic ber types were put in place instead. unless you use liblber > directly and i doubt you do [ last time i checked ] you should be > alright. > >> Would it be possible to get at least a summary of those API changes? > > Bugzilla Bug 339298 "umbrella bug for tracking the merge of Sun and > Mozilla LDAPCSDK code" > > it links to other bugs. see also http://wiki.mozilla.org/LDAPSunMerge
