you gonna have to elaborate more on this but my guess is that you are actually talking about PR_Recv() case. if so, are you setting prldap_set_session_option / PRLDAP_OPT_IO_MAX_TIMEOUT correctly ? what CSDK version is that and what NSPR and perhaps NSS ver used?
