Newbie: Another Windoze build question

A couple (probably simple/apparent-newbie) questions:

1) Does anyone have 6.0.3 compiled with VC6 that can distribute the
lib and dll files?  I assume that if I have VC6 installed, I could
then use those files to build my own programs without violating
anyone's redist licenses?

If not:
2) Has anyone put together a Wiki or page that details how to compile
the latest LDAP CSDK with VC6 from start to finish (including any
dependencies)?  All the pages I've looked at seem really disjointed
and make a lot of assumptions.
