venu as i mentioned before you need to use NSPR layer via
prldap_init() in order to use IPv6. libldap does not have
native IPv6 support builtin regardless of the platform.
on Windows it should be the same however you have to make
sure that particular Windows version you use has native
IPv6 support. in older versions of Windows Server for
instance there was no native IPv6 support and although
additional module/s were provided by Microsoft via
download i recall having problems getting it to work.
