Sample code for LDAP from Javascript?

I'm looking for some sample Javascript code that would show me how to use
the Mozilla LDAP library to connect to a server.  I just want the basics, 
such
as connecting to the server, running a query, and updating some attributes.

Can anyone point me to something?  Am I asking in the right newsgroup?
