parent window object

Dear All,
	I was using firefox2 to browse the Application it was working fine
with it, when I updated to firefox3 in which, when I go from first
window to the second window, the Parent(first window) information in
the second window is lost. So how can I get it back or is there any
way I can store the first window object and can use this object in the
second window.
