It's actually Firefox itself that launches the plugins (like flash) in 
separate processes.  So you would need a new version of Firefox.

This work is in the pre-pre-pre-alpha stage right now, so I wouldn't 
advise using it, but we should "soon" (maybe within a month or so) have 
testing builds available for brave souls like yourself ;).  We'll 
definitely announce this on mozilla.dev.
