Atually it works on my system with the 20030411 build. But I got 
similar effect - if I change the color scheme and start Mozilla all 
subsequent changes doesn't affect Mozilla (even after restarting it) 
until I delete the .gtkrc-kde file and re-apply the scheme (this may 
involve temporary changing the scheme to something different and 
back on). I'm testing it on Slackware 8.1.
