I'm guessing that you are running into this bug: 
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=337196.  I am still waiting 
for approval to check it in to MOZILLA_1_8_0_BRANCH.  But since you 
built it yourself, try building with the patch in that bug.  Let me know 
if it works.
