Gecko in java

Hi all,

Maybe I'm asking the same recurrent question again but I wish to know if
there is a way to render normal HTML pages (html+css+js) natively in java.

I tried jrex (http://jrex.mozdev.org/) but it doesn't fit exactly what I
mean with "native".

I tried xulrunner too but I didn't manage to talk with from java.

I think that if a regular application can easily embed MSIE (in Windows)
why I can't do the same with FFox?

Any comment will be appreciated.
