My company needs a quick prototype built of a system that will open two frames in a page: * Frame 1-- This will be the assistant offering some advice tuned to the information in frame 2. * Frame 2-- A tool that will browse the web freely after beginning with a page filled with links of likely sites. The user will begin by opening up this pair and then choosing some initial sites from a list of links shown in Frame 2. As the user chooses, frame 1 will adapt. I would like some Javascript code from the main page to deliver the document.location information from Frame 2 to the Frame 1 so Frame 1 can display useful information. The catch is that frame 2 will often display pages from domains that are different from frame 1. This complicates the development. It would be ideal to do this with a minimal involvement from the websites displayed in Frame 2. If necessary, the sites in Frame 2 can execute some javascript on loading, but we would like to minimize and eliminate this requirement. Please write with any questions and thoughts. I imagine that this will be a short project for anyone with experience in building websites where the frames communicate with each other. If you have the expertise and the time to knock off a quick prototype, please get in touch with your rate and any questions. -Peter Wayner
