Sun JRE embedded plugin for Firefox Mobile

Hi, i know firefox mobile has plugins disabled by default, but i have a dou=
bt :
Why even after enable plugins in about:config, and putting the plugin
from the java embedded for ARM in the plugins directory of my N900 ,
firefox is still unable to see the java plugin ? (It can see other
plugins just fine).
Is java fully unsupported  even with  the plugin provided by sun ?
