Venkman on Thunderbird?

Will there ever be a Venkman for Thunderbird?

Why do you want such a thing? You man ask.
Because I want to develop a couple of JS plugins for Thunderbird.
I will need to debug them.


I decided to see if Venkman would run on Thunderbird with minor mods....

I have hacked the xpi for Firefox to install on Thunderbird. I'd also 
hacked the xul overlay so that the Tools menu gets a Javascript Debugger 
entry, but
when clicking on this menu the Venkman window did not appear, and 
looking in the DOM inspector, I saw the Venkman window existed, but
was not displayed, and was incomplete.

Conclusion:
Venkman on Thunderbird will need someone with more JS/XUL expertise than me
