Yes, they butchered a lot of stuff since 1.0. I have it running fine 
here, but apparently others can't get it to work. I have a vague idea 
why, but no time (today) to fix it.

Ideally, we should get 0.9.85 into CVS, then I can fix it up a bit more 
easily.
