(I downloaded the latest versions > of XULRunner and Venkman today). Sounds to me like XULRunner's not noticed the new components file (that's where the Venkman protocols are all hooked up). Best thing to try is to create (or edit it if it already exists) a file called ".autoreg" in the same directory as XULRunner.exe.
