If you want to be part of a community then at least invest some time in reading up on past discussions and looking up bug reports. This topic has been discussed multiple times, and the people that actually contribute to the XSLT engine have repeatedly made clear their point of view, namely *we* are most likely not going to implement DOE, but we will consider intelligent proposals to implement it (and that means not making people pay for it if the they don't use it). You haven't actually added anything new to the discussion, so who's being rude? Peter
