Output SVG embedded in XHTML with XSLT

Hi,

I'm using XSLT and PHP to generate all the pages on my site, and I'd
like to start adding some SVG to the output. http://dev.l0b0.net/include/stylesheet/template.xsl
now includes some SVG, but /only/ the contents of the "desc" element
is output. I thought any non-XSLT markup inside a template would be
output verbatim. I've googled and had a look through quite a few forum
threads, but nobody seems to output XML in several namespaces. Any
help would of course be very welcome.

The site is using Sablotron 1.0.
